Carol Jean Schmidt: Age 76
Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, entered into the House of the Lord on January 30th, 2023. She is preceeded in death by her father, Clement Smith, mother Rosemary Kendrick, and step-mother Clarice Smith. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Larry Schmidt, son, Robert Schmidt (Christina), daughter Heidi Owsley, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was dedicated to enhancing the lives of others through her counseling, women's prayer group and compassionate personality. She always put Christ first in her life and was a prayer warrior for family, friends, and others. It didn't matter if she knew you or not. She would pray for you as if you were family. Carol had a heart of gold, and will be missed dearly by those who had the honor of knowing her. A memorial service will be held on March 10 at 11AM at Quail Lakes Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Quail Lakes Foundation or your favorite charity.
