Obituary for Vincent James Santo

Vincent James Santo
4/29/60 – 3/17/2024
Vincent James Santo, aka brother Vinny, the eldest of five brothers, was a larger than life personality. He never cared what anyone else thought of him. If you were within an earshot of Vinny, you definitely heard him! He loved his family and Jesus more than anything, and he made it known by his loud voice and his heart. We all attributed this to his football days as a great athlete, and his years in the United States Navy. Brother Vinny had a heart of gold. After coming back home from his four years in the Navy and many years working in construction across the United States, he planted himself in Stockton, California.
He became caregiver to his handicapped younger brother Christopher and a helper to the “Santo Manor”. The Santo Manor would never have been the same without him. People were always greeted by Vincent’s “bulldog” personality and everyone loved him for it! He dedicated his life to his family and never wanted to leave them. He always sought the Lord and worked hard to help his mother Chloie and his father James. He took great interest in his nephew Steve, who is in the United States Navy, and was recently promoted to Chief; and devoted himself to his many nieces whom he loved so much and always needed to hear how they were doing.
There are many men in this world, but Vincent was a true Man! He was a man who looked after his family before his own needs. Vincent James Santo will always live in our hearts and souls as brother Vinny. We love you Vinny!
