Raul Jose “Pops” Perez of Stockton, CA passed away while surrounded by his loved ones on August 16th, 2022 at the age of 69. Raul was born to Jose Olague & Martina Perez on October 25th, 1952. On September 4th, 1971, he married his wife Stella Perez and together they raised 5 sons. “Pops” worked in general labor most of his life and was an avid salesman. His favorite hobbies included fishing, camping, listening to his favorite corridos, and spending quality time with his grandchildren. His family and friends would say he was quite the jokester, always making someone laugh. Raul is preceded in death by his father Jose, his mother Martina, his brother Jose Luis and his son Antonio. He is survived by his wife, Stella Perez, his sons, Michael (Kiki), Raul (Rulie), Ruperto (Tani), & Salvador (Bebe), his sister Maria Rojas, his brother, Humberto Perez de Acosta, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family members.
