Narciso (Reno) was born to Rodolfo and Alicia Leal in Pleasanton Texas, delivered by a midwife at his grandfather's farm house. Moved to Stockton, California with his family when he was 4 years old. There he attended Elmwood Elementry, Fremont Junior High, Franklin High School and briefly attended San Juaquin Delta College. He joined and served in the Navy for four years, honorably discharged in 1974. Married Theresa (Terry) Elias in 1972 and they resided in San Diego until his discharge from the Navy. They returned to Stockton in 1974 where he started working for Sharpes Army Depot in Tracy, retiring in 1992. Reno and Terry eventually divorce, and he went on to father a child with Julie Reilly, a son Bennito. Reno and Julie seperated and he met and married Julie Salerno.
Reno enjoyed participating in basketball, softball, billiards and darts, he played in leagues throughout the years. He also enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He enjoyed music, dancing and socializing with friends and family.
Reno is preceeded in death by his father Rodolfo Leal, his mother Alicia Leal and his second wife Julie Salerno. He is survived by his son Bennito Leal/ Courtney Slawson, grandson Carson, sister Corina Davis/Don, sister Rita Loera/Roy, brother Rudy Leal/Jeanette, sister Melinda Leal, sister Renee Murphy/Anthony, many nieces/nephews, cousins, friends and his beloved dog BlackJack.
