Leonora Abadilla Escobar, 89 years old of Stockton, California, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on November 8, 2023 due to natural causes. She was born on July 7, 1934 in Alcala, Cagayan, Philippines of the late Gregorio Abadilla and Emiliana Guzman. She was the 2nd to the youngest of 6 siblings who predeceased her- Juanita Santiago, Rosario Abadilla, Maria Gavino, Felisa Casten, Vicente Abadilla, and Espirita Vaquilar. She is survived by her children (George, Gladys and Lydia), her grandchildren (Christopher, Alyssa, and Danielle) and great grandchild (Jordin), nieces, nephews, cousins and long life friends of the Denver Avenue neighborhood.

She married Daniel Dadero Escobar in January 1964, who passed away on December 7, 1996. They were members of the Caballeros De Dimas Alang Lodge and enjoyed dancing and casino trips with their friends. Since she was retired from Laura Scudders in 1989 she dedicated her time to help raise her grandson Christopher and in later years her grand daughters. Leonora loved to play mahjong, crochet, watch soap operas, and tv game shows. She was very social, and enjoyed little outings with her friends, and being their chauffer. She was a great cook and enjoyed hosting parties. Her funny humor, laugh and presence as the lady of the house (the boss) will be greatly missed.
