Mom, Grandma, Auntie Jessie Cappas passed away peacefully at Modesto Kaiser Hospital at the age of 71 years.

Born and raised in San Jose, Ca., she eventually moved and spent the last 21 years of her life in Stockton, Ca.

Jessie met the love of her life when she was 2 years-old, and spent her entire life with him. Jessie and Justino Jr. shared 54 years of marriage, and their amazing love story continues to inspire all those around them.

Mom was devoted to her 3 boys Justino III, Angel, and Wayne, and throughout her life managed to guide and raise many others around her.

She was a loving grandmother to Justino IV, Tabitha, Teena, Ryan, Jessica, Angel Jr, and Austin and a great-grandmother to Sophia, Emma, Justino V, and Benjamin. She was also an Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Jessie spent 20 years in the workforce, but excelled most as a wonderful homemaker. She cherished her family above everything, and has passed this core value to her surviving family. She was a strong, determined, fiercely independent woman. We will miss her every day.

There will be a viewing at 10 am on Dec. 5, 2020 at Colonial Rose Chapel. A service will follow at 2pm. Face masks and all social distancing protocols will be respected at the chapel.
