Obituary for Elpedio Quilnet Jamosmos Sr.

ELPEDIO Q. JAMOSMOS, SR.
1930—2020

Elpedio Q. Jamosmos, Sr., a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and great grandfather, has passed on to be with his Savior and Lord on December 22, 2020. He was born on August 5, 1930 in Siaton, Negros Oriental, Philippines and was a textile merchant and small-eatery businessman for over four decades before migrating to the US where he was a nursing assistant at Good Samaritan Rehabilitation and Care Center as well as Crestwood Manor in Stockton, CA. He touched many lives in the Philippines through his financial support as he sent a number of young people to school. In the US, he will be remembered for his dedicated service and jolly personality in caring for his wards and co-workers at the care home facilities he worked in.

Elpedio Sr was preceded to eternity by his wife, Rosemarie Valenciano Jamosmos in 2016, and is survived by their seven children (Jose Antonio, Heracleo, Elpedio Jr., Maria Rosel, Manuel Pastor, Jose Ramil, and Maritess), daughters- and sons-in-law, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with his sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He will remain in our hearts and minds as we fondly remember his steadfast nature and jolly smile and cherish the memories we created with him together. Specifics on funeral services on January 8, 2021 can be found in Facebook or Colonial Rose Chapel website.
