Ed, beloved husband, father, and friend passed away from complications due to acute myeloid leukemia and pneumonia on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023 at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. Ed is survived by his wife, Bettina Grayson Jones, and his daughter, Meleia S. Mitchell and was predeceased by his daughter, Celeste Monique Grayson.

Ed touched so many hearts and was dedicated to being of service. He celebrated 10 years of marriage to Bettina on December 21st, 2022 and 25 years of clean time in Narcotics Anonymous on January 8th, 2023. We who knew him were so incredibly blessed by his love and caring. He is missed every second of every day.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, 11 March 2023 at 1pm, at Colonial Rose Chapel & Cremation, 520 N. Sutter Street, Stockton, CA 95202.
