Obituary for Dennis Clark Olson

Rev. Dr. Dennis Clark Olson went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 18, 2021.
He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 26, 1935. Dennis is survived by his wife of 62 years Sharon Olson, Children Michael Olson (Eilene), Kathy Olson (Debi), David Olson (Denise), Stephen Olson (Francine), and Erik Olson (Michelle), 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, brother Rick Hubbard, and sister Carolyn Olson Wright, along with a nephew and nieces. Preceding in death, his brothers Terry Olson and Greg Hubbard.
Dr. Dennis C. Olson was a retired senior pastor. He held a BA from Biola University and an MA and PhD from the California Graduate School of Theology. In addition, he worked as an X-ray Technologist for 50 years. His passion was for the Lord Jesus Christ, introducing as many people to Jesus as he could and encouraging them to grow in their faith. He authored a book, "The Church Needs A New Model" about the basics of the Christian faith. He was extremely loving and compassionate. He was a generous man who made himself available to those in need. We will miss him with all our hearts and look forward to the day we'll see each other again.
A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday Nov. 6, 11:00 am at Colonial Rose Chapel 520 N. Sutter St., Stockton, CA 95202
