Cipriano G. Suarez, AKA Cip or Ninoy, was born on September 26, 1934, in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. He died on December 6, 2022, at the age of 88 at the Kaiser Medical Center in Modesto, California, after a battle with cancer and a heart attack. He is survived by his beloved wife, Loreto Suarez, and his four children, Bernadette, Nestor, Julius, and Lorelyn, as well as his 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He worked in the Philippines surveying roads for the Department of Public Highways and later at the Marriott Hotel Santa Clara in the Engineering Department until he retired. He made his home in San Jose, California for 20 years until 2003, when he moved to Stockton to be closer to his eldest daughter. He loved singing, dancing, listening to music, reading newspapers, solving puzzles, traveling with family, and going to parties. In his later years, he remained active in the community around him and loved attending senior activities. He was a member of the Senior Citizens' Association and the Carcar Brotherhood. He grew up a devoted Catholic and always had a strong faith in God, praying at the altar and offering flowers from the garden of his home. In all, Cipriano lived a full life and will forever be loved and remembered.
