Aunt Melly, my godmother, will always hold a special place in my heart. When I was teased about being little, Aunt Melly would tell me “we’re just little Pinays, you and me” and she’d have me stand tall with her (that’s right, I said tall – lol). In all seriousness, Aunt Melly is an amazing woman. The special bond, values, and strength she instilled in her family is admirable. Mike loved how she welcomed him into the family and treated him as if he had always been here. Aunt Melly had a way of making everyone feel important and special. We love you Aunt Melly, rest in peace.
