Alice K. Haversack, 94, passed away January 23, 2019 in Stockton, CA. She was born to parents, John and Margaret Krikorian, Alice was a caring person that loved her family and friends, she would go out of her way to help a person in need. She enjoyed giving gifts of baked goods to family and friends and toys to neighborhood kids. She was a life member of V.F.W. Post 67 and a good friend to the community. She will be greatly missed. She would tell stories of her Armenian heritage and occasionally speak the language. Alice enjoyed conversation with her sister Lilian.
Alice lived with her daughter for the last 10 years of her life and that created an even more special bond between them, Alice would tell stories of the day when she and husband Frank would go out dancing…she still had the dance moves well into her 90’s. She was a hugh Yankee Baseball fan, referring to them as the Yanks and along with her son in law, she would rally for the Yanks to win no matter who they were playing.
Alice would visit the local neighborhood McDonald's to be with friends and sit and talk. Alice was offered a job there at the age of 78 years old and said she would except it only under her conditions, and that was to do it her way ...well, the customers loved her and the McClatchy High school students were put on their best behavior because Alice would not have it any other way.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Frank Leslie Haversack Jr., son Alexander Drew Haversack and her brother, Joe Krikorian. She is survived by her sister, Lilian R Caraska and by daughter Suzette Hutchinson and her husband Clifford Sr. and son Frank L. Haversack III. Grandmother of Clifford D. Hutchinson Jr., Kristal Hutchinson, Ernie Haversack and Megan Haversack. Alice is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
